  88. This is in reply to Gunnar "Mad as Hell" Swanson and the others that have
  89. been complaining over the last few days about John Smith not answering
  90. messages. Gravis has just re-located to a larger headquarters, and everyone
  91. there has been (and still is) quite busy. Furthermore, John is human, and
  92. unlike a god us humans can't do five thousand things at once. Please keep
  93. this in mind before posting ridiculously silly messages to the digest. You're
  94. a lot better off than people who have to deal with Creative Labs; they don't
  95. even speak much english.

  108. Bit of a problem. I just got myself a new 3.5mm to RCA adapter cord
  109. and along the way discovered that my L and R have been back to front.

  113. Anyway, thanks to the joys of the Cakewalk interpolate command I've moved
  114. them to the correct way around. I've put them all in chrismid.zip.

  116. i.e. chris1.mid, chris2.mid, chris4.mid, chrisnot.mid
  117.      (and a bonus track (!) - a revamped air.mid).

  119. Also loaded up chrisnot.zip seperately just so that people didn't log in and
  120. find it wasn't there.

  124. For the record, the noise at the start of Chris4.mid should pan L to R,
  125. NOT R to L. I'm pretty sure I've got it right this time ...

  127. One other thing. I had some people write to me about not having ftp
  128. access and I sent them a copy of the first 4 mids (?I think? ). Could these
  129. people plus any others who are interested get back to me again so I can put
  130. them on my new `Gus chris music' mailing list? (Sorry, but my mail's been a
  131. bit hectic lately and I don't really want to go back looking through it all).
  132. When I post something on epas I'll also put out a uuencoded copy through 
  133. Email. PLEASE only if you don't have ftp access though.

  144. Using SBOS 2.04, the digitized stuff comes out crystal clear and in
  145. synch.  Can't say anything about the music, though.  I'm playing it
  146. off my Roland.  :-)  It should be ok.  Great game!

  159. not remember reading any answers. I was just wondering if
  160. anyone has tried the Covox Voice Blaster (voice recognition software)
  161. on our GUS? and if it works OK? (like with windows, ect)

  181. By the way, I downloaded SBOS 2.06 from the Gravis BBS and installed it.
  182. It just seems to have the added feature of a config file for gamw switches
  183. to be used automatically.  It is suppose to alter the volume of some background
  184. music, but I don't see the difference.  And for me, it locks up my computer
  185. when I try to load it high.  It looks like I'm re-installing version 2.04
